Committees & Task Forces

All members of the Chanhassen Area Chamber of Commerce are welcome to join a Chamber Committee or Task Force. Participation offers members the opportunity to network with other business leaders and play an integral part in the Chamber organization. Business Industry and Education Committee

Mission: To provide a leadership role in developing partnerships between Chanhassen Area Chamber Member businesses, the community and the schools.  This committee also works directly with the Chambers Education Foundation

coordinating the Education Grant Program for graduating high school students who reside in Chanhassen and who plan to attend

continuing education programs.

Chanhassen Area Chamber Business Networking Group

Mission:  To provide an opportunity for its members to connect with other business

           people in a small group setting, to grow their Personal Business Network and to share business leads.

Golf Tournament Task Force

           This task force coordinates the annual Golf Tournament held in May.

Government Action Task Force

Mission: To identify and monitor key legislative, regulatory and governmental issues affecting Chanhassen Area Chamber businesses and to keep membership informed on these issues. Committee members also sponsor election year candidate forums.

 

Home Improvement & Landscaping Expo Task Force

Mission: To assist in the development and marketing of the annual Home Expo held March 15 and 16, 2008

at Chapel Hill Academy, Chanhassen Minnesota.

Leadership Conference Task Force

Mission: To assist in the development and marketing of the Fall Leadership Conference.

      

                                     

Membership Services Committee

Mission: To promote visibility for the Chanhassen Area Chamber of Commerce through personal visits to local businesses and act as “Greeters” at all Chamber sponsored events.  To assist in the creation of Chamber Marketing materials and programs including the Chamber 101 Program.
